Breathwork
Breathwork is a means of inducing an altered state of consciousness through full, connected breathing often accompanied with breath holds. We teach a breathing technique similar to the Wim Hof method as well as SOMA breathwork.

Start With The Orientation Workshop
Everyone who participates in our in-person classes must begin by taking the Orientation Workshop. This includes:
A 90-minute workshop describing the science behind the technique and how to use it to make lasting changes in your life.
One-on-one instruction and support during your first Breathwork & Ice Class
Ice bath with full support from your instructors + a post-worthy photo in the bath
Real human connection with a lively social hour after the class
After completing this orientation, you may attend any of our classes.

FAQs
What are the benefits of breathwork?
Some of the benefits you can experience include increased energy level, cleansing and detoxing, increased relaxation, boosting the immune system, and promoting longevity and peak performance.
What can I expect in the on-demand classes?
The on-demand classes are designed to provide structure for you through the uncomfortable emotions and problems that life throws at you. We offer classes on topics such as difficulty sleeping, lack of self-esteem, partnership dynamics, cravings and addiction, and moving through emotions like anger, shame, loss, or loneliness.
Because breathwork brings us into a meditative state easily, it allows us to view these troubles from a new perspective. Often that shift in perspective is what helps us move through these difficult times, and solve problems that didn’t seem solvable with our previous perspective.
Are there any contraindications?
Yes. The breathwork technique we teach uses intermittent hypoxic training, which involves holding your breath for short periods of time. This technique as well as the ice bath is contraindicated in case of:
- acute somatic and viral diseases
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD-II and COPD-III)
-chronic diseases with symptoms of decompensation or terminal illness
-individual intolerance of oxygen insufficiency
-cancer
-people with epilepsy or a history of seizures
-pacemakers or heart arrhythmias
-history of stroke, hypertension, or heart disease
- pregnancy
If you have any other conditions or questions, we encourage you to speak with your doctor to find out if intermittent hypoxic training is safe for you.
What do I need to take the online classes?
Prior to taking any classes, you will view an instructional video on how to do the breathwork techniques and how to set up your space. All you need is a quiet space, headphones, and a stable internet connection. Everything else we cover in the initial instructional video is optional to enhance your experience.
What do I need to bring to class?
Be sure to remember a swimsuit, towel, and water bottle. Wear comfortable clothes that you might wear to yoga or an exercise class. During the colder months, we recommend bringing an extra blanket, a robe, and easy-on sandals.
